Licence, citation and reuse

Consom'Action open data is published under a free licence. Here is what you can do with it and how to cite it.

Licences

Reuse conditions

  • Credit Consom'Action and the dataset reference (CA-DATA-…) in any publication or application.
  • Do not present results as representative of the whole population: samples are non-probability.
  • State the update date and status (final) of the data used.
  • Do not attempt to re-identify people: files only contain aggregates.
  • Report any error to donnees@consomaction.bf.

How to cite

Each dataset has a stable internal reference in the CA-DATA-YYYY-NNN format, to include in the citation. Example:

Consom'Action Burkina (2026). Mobile Money: are fees clear to users?: aggregate results [dataset]. Reference CA-DATA-2026-001. Licence Open Database License (ODbL) 1.0. https://dev.consomaction.bf/en/donnees/mobile-money-frais-confiance

No individual data

Files are produced from the public statistics of surveys: counts and percentages per option, averages, aggregate scores. No individual answer, identifier or free text is included. Test participations and those removed by quality control are excluded.
