Methodology

Anonymisation: free-text fields and sensitive questions removed; generalisation (age bands, region instead of city, dates to the month); categories chosen by fewer than 5 respondents grouped as “other_grouped”; k-anonymity (k = 5) on gender, age band and region, with 30 residual record(s) suppressed. No noise is added to the variables of interest. The “weight” column holds the weighting factor when a scheme is published.
